What Is The Walk Ministries?
The Walk is a nonprofit organization that utilizes creative methods and resources to support those who are embarking on a journey of restoration following hardship or other forms of adversity. While the restorative journey is different for everyone, we believe that significant growth can come from intentionally addressing common core components. Our Christ-lead, holistic approach enables us to help individuals meet both material and spiritual restoration goals. Our goal is that participants will walk away feeling helped, whole, and hungry for Gods will on the journey ahead.

WHY?
I have experienced significant adversity, brokenness, and hardship in my life. During these times I realized how adversity can cause great disillusionment and discouragement. Some of these things I did not cause and some of it I did have a hand in. Either way, God showed me that his desire is for me to take hold of his hand and let him walk me through all the pain and confusion that I had no idea about how to overcome. He showed me that there is hope, joy, love, stability, healing, clarity, prosperity, and more but that it would all be found in him. He also showed me that although I didn’t cause everything I experienced, there are things that I could do to better manage what is in my control and to perhaps be better equipped to face what is not. However, perhaps the greatest thing that God showed me was that, hopelessness, brokenness, and disillusionment is not his plan for my life but there is a real enemy who has planned this for me and for many. God gave me the desire to create an opportunity for others to be supported on their journey after experiencing adversity so that instead of them falling prey to the plot of the enemy, they could experience hope beyond the brokenness and live the abundant life that God intended for them. It won’t be a sprint, it will be a walk….but we won’t walk alone.
